We stayed at Ketut's Place for 4 nights at the end of February. The hotel is located in a calm and peaceful location which is a short distance from the center of Ubud where there are a number of excellent restaurants and an amazing market selling local products. If you want to visit the town, the hotel provides a regular shuttle service to/from the town center - times are displayed at the reception or it's rather a nice walk if you go in the morning before the heat of the day. The area surrounding Ketut's Place Villas is lovely – there are numerous places to visit eg sacred monkey forest sanctuary, rice terraces, rice fields, temples, Ubud Royal Palace, Klungkung Royal Palace, Tukad Cepung Waterfall, and Taman Tirtagangga royal water palace. The staff are really friendly and helpful – we received lovely smiles and warm greetings from all the team. The food in the hotel is very good and inexpensive if you want to eat in - we enjoyed the really tasty breakfasts on our balcony. Our Balinese style room was immaculate, comfortable, really spacious and had a lovely large bed with mosquito nets - the room facilities were excellent

It was our first trip to Bali with my wife. We spent a week in Ubud. Ketut's Place Villas was the perfect choice! The city center is 5 minutes' drive away. That's just one of the benefits. It is close but still in a quiet, peaceful setting. The style of accommodation is stunning! Absolutely authentic Balinese style features. The buildings, the decorations, the materials, the layout, the garden, the scents, the sanctuary, radiate unity and convey awareness. We loved being here because it felt like we were on a time trip in the old world of Bali. The quality of service is outstanding! Most of all we met with Jesy and Budi! Maximum recognition for them and other employees! The uniform appearance of the employees, Balinese style, every day. Endless kindness, they helped and solved all requests. And they always smiled. 🙂 We stayed at the villa part of the Yudistira unique villa. It was a princely accommodation! Clean, comfortable, well equipped. As we have seen, other rooms and suites are of this quality. Highly recommended!!!!!!!!!!!

Stayed here for a week on our trip to Bali, it's the most relaxing beautiful place with amazing staff. Especially Ayu, Rio and the young guy who took us into the centre each day (sorry can't remember your name) We ate here a lot and the food was beautiful, the rooms are perfect, large, clean and everything you need. We had a corner suite overlooking the pool, the outside space was huge. If you want anything extra all you have to do is ask. Ketut was around often and came for a chat, nice guy too. We had previously stayed at the Kanyon Jungle resort which is 5* high end luxury, however as soon as we got settled in here my daughter commented on how she liked this place even better, it has such a good feeling and the hotel and grounds are beautiful. I wouldn't hesitate to go back or recommend this to anyone. If I visit Bali again I will be booking into Ketut's Place Villas again without a doubt. Thank you for making our time in Ubud so special.
